Is a Fire NOC required for our building in Uttar Pradesh?
Fire safety certification in Uttar Pradesh runs under the UP Fire Prevention & Fire Safety Act 2022, and applicability depends on the occupancy classification, height and use of the building. We confirm applicability site by site, review the fire-fighting system against NBC 2016 Part 4, and manage the documentation, inspection and drill.
What is covered in an IS 14489 safety audit?
IS 14489 is the Indian standard for occupational safety and health audits of a workplace. Our audits cover the workplace, machines, construction activity and warehouses, with hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) and, where the process demands it, process safety. The report lists the gaps against statutory requirements with owners and dates.
When is an on-site emergency plan mandatory?
An on-site emergency plan is required under Rule 13 of the Manufacture, Storage and Import of Hazardous Chemical Rules where hazardous chemicals are present at or above the threshold quantities set in the Rules. We prepare the plan and the safety report, and provide the occupier's technical inputs to the district off-site emergency plan.
